Conditions for registration

Rates and registration details

The registration fee in NOK 2900 and includes: Conference according to programme, 2 lunches, coffee breaks, and conference dinner on 2 April.

The registration fee for speakers is NOK 2000 and includes: Conference according to programme, 2 lunches, coffee breaks, and conference dinner on 2 April. Only one speaker discount will be granted for each accepted oral contribution.

Special rate for students: NOK 500 including conference, 2 lunches and coffee breaks. Maximum 50 students. Supplement for optional conference dinner NOK 800.

For registration after 15 February the registration fee is NOK 3400.

Accommodation

A block of rooms has been reserved in the conference hotel, Radisson SAS Royal Garden Hotel, and also in Britannia Hotel, Thon Gildevangen Hotel, Thon Trondheim Hotel, Scandic Hotel Solsiden and Clarion Collection Grand Olav Hotel. These rooms are available through Tvete Arrangement. Rooms will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.

Registration, confirmation, changes

The deadline for applications is 15 February 2008. Hotel bookings received after 15 February 2008 cannot be guaranteed. All registration, payment and changes are to be directed to Tvete Arrangement. When registered, you will receive a confirmation and invoice by email. The conference registration will not be correctly confirmed before Tvete Arrangement has received payment.

Payment

Payment is due within 10 days from confirmed registration and reservations. You may pay by credit card or bank transfer. Hotel rooms must be paid directly to the hotel.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations must be made in writing by email: arrangement@tvete.com, fax: +47 7380 7728 or ordinary mail to Tvete Arrangement.

The organizers hold one uniform cancellation policy for the registration fee, hotel bookings and optional program items all alike.

• Cancellations received before 15 February 2008 get a full refund less fee of 250 NOK.
• Cancellations received between 15 February and 12 March 2008: 50 % refund.
• Cancellation of registration or/and hotel accommodation and meals received on and after 13 March and no- show: the participant has to pay the first night at the hotel and the meals ordered.

Replacement

If a participant is unable to come, a representative can be sent in his/her place. Replacement must be announced in writing by email: arrangement@tvete.com or fax: +47 7380 7728 to Tvete Arrangement.

Liability

The organizers cannot accept any responsibility for personal accidents or damage to personal effects of any conference participants. Everyone is advised to make their own arrangements for insurance of personal effects and medical costs. Certain insurances may also cover cancellation fees. Check with your local travel agent. Furthermore, the organizers cannot be held liable for any claim arising from breach of contract by suppliers etc., or by situations of force majeure. By organizers here are referred to Enova, the Norwegian State of Housing Bank, NTNU, Sintef Building and Infrastructure, and Tvete Arrangement, all in different capacities of the organization of the conference.
